University of Florida Women’s Lacrosse Elite Summer Camp

The University of Florida Women’s Lacrosse Elite Summer Camp will be from June 27 until June 29 at the University of Florida Lacrosse Facility. This summer camp is inviting all girls in grade 8 up to grade 12. It will accommodate both residential and commuters campers. However, residential campers should be at least in grade 9. In addition, this elite lacrosse camp emphasizes improvement on fundamental skills and techniques in a fun training atmosphere. The participants will also be able to play in competitive scrimmages which promotes learning retention.

The University of Florida (UF), established in 1853, is an American public land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant research university with a 2,000-acre campus in Gainesville, Florida. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of around 34,600 with a gender distribution of 45 percent male and 55 percent female students. Meanwhile, the university has a student-faculty ratio of 20:1 which is about 47.8 percent of its classes have fewer than 20 students. For 111 years, the university has won a total of 39 national team championships, 34 of which are NCAA titles. The Florida Gators sports teams are competing in the NCAA Division I Southeastern Conference. Florida athletes have also already 275 individual national championships in the book. Moreover, UF students and alumni have won 126 Olympic medals of which 60 are gold. The university is also 9th in best public universities of the 2018 edition of U.S. News and World Report rankings.

 

University of Florida Women’s Lacrosse Elite Summer Camp Organizers

The head coach of the University of Florida Gators women’s lacrosse team is Amanda O’Leary, a native of Royersford, Pennsylvania. Under her guidance, the Gators has already 2 Big East Tournament titles. Coach Amanda O’Leary is also a 3-time American Lacrosse Conference Coach of the Year, a 2-time IWLCA South Region Coach of the Year, and the 2014 ILWomen Coach of the Year. Then, the Gators women’s lacrosse assistant coaches are Taryn VanThof and Nadine Hadnagy. And finally, the University of Florida Gators women’s lacrosse program coordinator is Marci Brown.
