Rhode Island College Anchorwomen Summer Lacrosse Camp

Sign-up and join the Rhode Island College Anchorwomen Summer Lacrosse Camp. This lacrosse summer camp is going to run from the 16th of July until the 20th of July. It is going to take place at the Rhode Island College’s Murray Center and Recreation Center. This lacrosse training program is open to both boys and girls 7 to 15 years of age at any skill level. In addition, the training program’s daily schedule is set to start at 8:00 AM and end at 4:30 PM. This summer lacrosse camp emphasizes overall lacrosse fundamental skills development through quality instructions. Instructions and groupings will be in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. There will also be competitive games and scrimmages. Moreover, the registration fee includes a free camp t-shirt.

Rhode Island College, formerly Rhode Island College of Education, is a public, coeducational college in Providence, Rhode Island. As a whole, it has an accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Its departments have also accreditations from their respective associations. Among these accreditations are from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Currently, Rhode Island College is accommodating around 7,500 undergraduate students. 32 percent of this undergraduate student population are male students and 68 percent are female students. This undergraduate student population is with a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 75 percent. The college’s student to faculty ratio is 14:1. Rhode Island College is also serving around 1,500 postgraduate students. The academic institution is using a semester-based academic calendar. Moreover, Rhode Island College fields 19 intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports teams competing in the Little East Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III. Their official colors are burgundy, gold, and white. They call themselves the Anchormen. The Rhode Island College women’s lacrosse team had its inaugural season in 2001.

 

Rhode Island College Anchorwomen Summer Lacrosse Camp Organizers

Jessica Shiel, who hails from West Warwick, Rhode Island, is the new head coach of the Rhode Island College Anchorwomen lacrosse team. She is a Rhode Island College graduate with a degree in health/physical education. Coach Jessica Shiel is the former UMass Dartmouth women’s basketball assistant coach and the former Cumberland High School head girl’s lacrosse coach. Additionally, Coach Jessica Shiel was an exceptional women’s lacrosse and women’s basketball player during her college days. Then, the Rhode Island College Anchorwomen lacrosse team assistant coaches are Harmony Tillison and Morgan Tullar. Coach Harmony Tillison, a native of Cranston, Rhode Island, is in her first season with the coaching staff. She is a bachelor’s degree in community health and wellness graduate from Rhode Island College. She is now pursuing her physical therapy assistant certification at the Community College of Rhode Island. Coach Harmony Tillison is also the former Burrillville High School girls soccer assistant coach. Meanwhile, Coach Morgan Tullar, a native of Randolph, Vermont, is a bachelor’s degree in exercise science graduate from Central Connecticut State University. She is also a master’s degree in sports management from the University of New Haven. Coach Morgan Tullaris also in her first season with the Anchorwomen lacrosse coaching staff. She is at the same time, the college’s Coordinator of Recreation and Fitness Programs.
