University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens Women’s Lacrosse Camp

The University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens Women’s Lacrosse Camp is going to be held on the 13th of July. It is especially for girls in grade 8 up to grade 12 who are desiring to play at the college level. This full-day training program is going to take place at the scenic University of Delaware campus. Furthermore, this lacrosse camp provides an opportunity for top lacrosse players to showcase their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. It also aims at fine-tuning the player’s fundamental skills and learning new techniques. Additionally, the camp registration fee is $230 per camper. This event is under the supervision of the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens women’s lacrosse coaching staff. It will be a motivational experience.

The University of Delaware is a private, coeducational, land-grant, sea-grant, space-grant university in Newark, Delaware. With around 18,400 undergraduate students and around 4,500 postgraduate students, the University of Delaware is the state’s largest university. Collectively, the Fightin’ Blue Hens athletics teams have already three NCAA Division I national team titles and one NCAA Division II national team title.

 

University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens Women’s Lacrosse Camp Organizers

Head Coach Kateri Linville, a native of Moorestown, New Jersey, is leading the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens women’s lacrosse team. She is now in her seventh year at the helm of the university’s women’s lacrosse program. Coach Kateri Linville is a Delaware alumna with a degree in health and exercise science. She is also a master’s degree in sport and exercise psychology graduate from the University of Virginia. Moreover, Coach Kateri Linville as a college lacrosse player was a three-year letter winner and an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association national Academic Honor Roll. Then, the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens women’s lacrosse assistant coaches are Joe Tornetta and Callie Santos. Coach Joe Tornetta who hails from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania is in his first year with the coaching staff. He is a seven-time Girl’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Joe Tornetta is a graduate of West Chester University. Meanwhile, Coach Callie Santos, originally from Bedford, New Hampshire, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. She is also in her first year with the coaching staff. Coach Callie Santos’ collegiate playing career includes a 2017 IWLCA All-Star Game selection. Finally, Kalyn McDonough is the director of player personnel.
