The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Lacrosse Prospect Clinic is a 2-day event that will run from October 7 until October 8. Its design is especially for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 high school graduating female lacrosse players who desire to play at the college level. It will take place at the South Campus Turf Field in the Pomona College campus. In addition, this lacrosse prospect clinic is a high-energy, high-level, and challenging training program that gears on enhancing the player’s fundamental skills as well as tactical knowledge. It includes competitive small field and full field games. It will also have goalie wars and man up/man down scrimmages. Check-in will start at 9:30 AM on Day 1.
Both Pomona College and Pitzer College are private, coeducational, liberal arts colleges in Claremont, California. Both colleges are sustaining academic excellence. Pomona College is 6th in National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 3rd in the Best Value Schools rankings. Meanwhile, Pitzer College is 33rd in the National Liberal Arts Colleges rankings and 62nd in the Best Value Schools rankings. Pomona College is accommodating 1,700 undergraduate students. On the other hand, Pitzer College has an undergraduate student population of around 1,100. The Pomona-Pitzer women’s lacrosse team is competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference of NCAA Division III. Their nickname is Sagehens.
Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Lacrosse Prospect Clinic Organizers
Sarah Queener, who hails from Penn Yan, New York, is the head coach of the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens women’s lacrosse team. She is the 2015 and the 2016 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Then, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens women’s lacrosse team interim head coach is Brian Eisenberg. He is the former Chapman University Panthers head coach. Additionally, Coach Brian Eisenberg is a 2-time Western Women’s Lacrosse League Division II Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2011 Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association Coach of the Year. Coach Eisenberg is a Masters of Arts in Leadership Development graduate from Chapman University.
