The Christopher Newport University Men’s Lacrosse Summer Day Camp is a three-day training program that will run from June 18 until June 20. It will take place at the Christopher Newport University campus. It is inviting all rising grade 3 through grade 12 boys. Furthermore, the program’s daily schedule is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning and end at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The training sessions will cover stickwork, shooting, and dodging. Moreover, the participants need to bring their own lacrosse gears and equipment. This event is under the direction of the Christopher Newport University men’s lacrosse coaching staff.

The head coach of the Christopher Newport University Captains men’s lacrosse team is Mikey Thompson. He is the 2016 Virginia State Coach of the Year awardee. Prior to Christopher Newport University, Coach Mikey Thompson is a member of the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse. Then, the Captains men’s lacrosse assistant coaches are Zach Thomas, Aaron Chrzaszcz, and Matt Hayden. Coach Matt Hayden is the former Captains’ goalkeeper. He is entering his first season with the coaching staff. Finally, Casey Devine-Rosser and Andrew Ashley are the team managers.
