The Messiah College Falcons Men’s Lacrosse Summer Prospect Camp is a three-day event from July 26 until July 28. The program is open to all rising 10th grade up to college freshman boys. It is going to take place at the Messiah College’s New Lacrosse Turf Field, a leading-edge lacrosse facility. Additionally, this summer camp will be teaching advanced level offensive and defensive skills. It also includes hand speed, footwork, and agility drills. Moreover, this training program also has sessions for goalies. All the training instructions will be from the Messiah College men’s lacrosse coaching staff.
Messiah College, originally Messiah Bible School and Missionary Training Home, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Its founder is the Brethren in Christ Church also known as the River Brethren and River Mennonites. Currently, it is serving around 2,800 undergraduate students and around 500 postgraduate students. The undergraduate student population has a 39 percent male and 61 percent female students gender distribution. Furthermore, in the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings, Messiah College is 4th in Regional Colleges North. It is also number one in the Best Colleges for Veterans category and number 3 in the Best Value Schools category. In addition, Messiah College’s intercollegiate athletic teams are competing in the Middle Atlantic Conferences of NCAA Division III. They are the Falcons and their official colors are navy blue and white.
Messiah College Falcons Men’s Lacrosse Summer Prospect Camp Organizers
Atsen Bulus is the head coach of the Messiah College Falcons men’s lacrosse team. The 2017 – 2018 season will be his fourth year at the helm of the college’s men’s lacrosse program. Coach Atsen Bulus is the 2011 MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year awardee. Then, Andrew Johnson is the team’s recruiting coordinator as well as the team’s defensive coordinator. Cody Rogers is the assistant coach and Will Franken is the graduate assistant coach. And finally, Nate Nester is the assistant athletic trainer.
