Northwestern University Women’s Lacrosse Winter Camp

The Northwestern University will be holding its Northwestern University Women’s Lacrosse Winter Camp on December 2 and 3. It is an opportunity to learn from a professional lacrosse coaching staff and current college players. It is inviting 2018,2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 high school graduating girls. This lacrosse training is for both beginner and advanced level lacrosse players. In addition, the venue of this in-demand training program is the Trienens Hall on the Northwestern University campus. Overall, the training experience will be challenging but enjoyable.

Northwestern University is a private coeducational university in Evanston, Illinois. It has 2 other campuses which are in Chicago, Illinois and Doha, Qatar. The university is an affiliation of the United Methodist Church. It is a member of the Association of American Universities as well as the Universities Research Association. It is 12th in the National Universities rankings. And, 18th in the Best Value Schools rankings. Currently, the university has around 21,000 students. This student population has a 50 percent male and 50 percent female students gender distribution. The enrollment acceptance rate is only 11 percent while the student to faculty ratio is 7:1. Additionally, Northwestern University has 19 intercollegiate sports teams. They are playing in the Big 10 Conference of NCAA Division 1. Their nickname is Wildcats and their official color is purple.

 

Northwestern University Women’s Lacrosse Winter Camp Organizers

Kelly Amonte Hiller who hails from Massachusetts is the head coach of the Northwestern University Wildcats women’s lacrosse team. She is a 5-time Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association National Coach of the Year. Coach Hiller is also a 7-time American Lacrosse Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Moreover, Coach Hiller has also an outstanding collegiate lacrosse playing career, with 2 NCAA National Player of the Year awards. She has also 9 NCAA National Titles on her record, 7 as a coach and 2 as a player. Then, the Wildcats assistant coaches are Tim McCormack and Hannah Murphy. And finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Scott Hiller, Coach Kelly’s better half.
