Saint Joseph’s University Hawks Men’s Lacrosse Showcase

The Saint Joseph’s University Hawks Men’s Lacrosse Showcase is a three-day event that is going to run from July 26 until July 28. It is open to all and any high school male lacrosse players in grade 9 to grade 11. The training program is going to take place at the scenic Saint Joseph University campus. Additionally, this lacrosse showcase program is an opportunity for those who are aspiring to play lacrosse at the college level to display their skills. The participants are going to experience collegiate-like drills and games. There will also be a strength and conditioning seminar and a college recruiting processes discussion. Moreover, the camp registration fee is $499 per camper which includes meals and lodging.

Saint Joseph’s University is a private, coeducational, nonprofit, Catholic university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities as well as the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities. The university is also part of the Philadelphia College Radio Collective and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Furthermore, the university has several accreditation, one of which is from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for its Haub School of Business college. It also has an accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Saint Joseph University is notable for its academic programs. It is also 34th in the Best Value Schools rankings and 4th in the Best Colleges for Veterans rankings. Currently, the university accommodates around 4,800 undergraduate students and 3,000 postgraduate students. The student to faculty ratio is 12:1. Saint Joseph’s University has 18 intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports teams. They are campaigning in the Atlantic-10 Conference of the National College Athletic Association Division I as the Hawks. Their official colors are crimson and gray.

 

Saint Joseph’s University Hawks Men’s Lacrosse Showcase Organizers

Taylor Wray, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, is the Head Coach of the Saint Joseph’s University Hawks men’s lacrosse team. He is now in his seventh season at the helm of the university’s men’s lacrosse program. Coach Taylor Wray is an alumnus of Duke University. He is also a master’s degree in teaching graduate from Queens University. In addition, Coach Wray is a three-time Northeast Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Under his leadership, the Hawks has already three Northeast Conference regular season titles. Then, the team’s associate head coach is Dan Keating, an alumnus of Duke University. He is also a master’s degree in Secondary Education graduate from Saint Joseph’s University. Coach Dan Keating is now in his sixth season with the Hawks coaching staff. He is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator and offensive coordinator. Mike Horowitz, a a native of Randolph, New Jersey, is the assistant men’s lacrosse coach and alumnus of Muhlenberg College. Coach Mike Horowitz is also a master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Finally, the Hawks men’s lacrosse volunteer assistant coach is Charles Giunta. Coach Guinta is a bachelor’s degree in marketing graduate from Saint Joseph’s University.
