Trinity College Bantams Women’s Lacrosse One Day Clinic

The Trinity College Bantams Women’s Lacrosse One Day Clinic is set on April 9 from 8:15 AM until 1:30 PM. It is open to all high school junior girls who are passionate about extending their game to the next level. It will take place at the Trinity College campus. In addition, this training program focuses on stick work, positional skill development, and team concepts. There will also be an optional campus tour at the conclusion of the program. Furthermore, the Trinity College women’s lacrosse coaching staff will be running this event. An additional schedule is set on June 4 to accommodate 9th and 10th graders.

Trinity College, originally Washington College, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Hartford, Connecticut. It is the state’s second oldest college. Trinity College is a proud member of the Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges and the Council of Independent Colleges. It is also part of the Annapolis Group and the Oberlin Group. Currently, the institution is serving around 2,300 undergraduate students. This student population has a 51 percent male and 49 percent female students gender distribution. Moreover, Trinity College is among the nation’s top educational institutions. As a matter of fact, it is 84th in the 2017 Forbes Magazine’s List of America’s Best Colleges. In the 2018 edition of US News and World Reports rankings, Trinity College is 44th in National Liberal Arts Colleges and 33rd Best Value Schools category. In sports, the college is competing in the NCAA Division III, New England Small College Athletic Conference.

 

Trinity College Bantams Women’s Lacrosse One Day Clinic Organizers

The head coach of the Trinity College Bantams women’s lacrosse team since June of 2014 is Katy Dissinger. She is the 2012 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association National Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Dissinger is also the 2016 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III Berkshire Region Coach of the Year. Then, the Bantams women’s lacrosse assistant coaches are Summer Washburn and Nicole Flores. Coach Washburn is at the same time the women’s field hockey assistant coach. Finally, Amy Cunningham is the staff liaison.
