University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen Lacrosse Prospect Day

Train and learn from the best at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen Lacrosse Prospect Day. It is a six-hour event that will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 3 o’clock in the afternoon on the 8th of October. This prospect day camp is going to take place at the state of the art Garber Field which is on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus. Furthermore, this training program is open to all male lacrosse players who are aspiring to play at the college level. The camp registration fee is $175 per camper. This includes lunch and a reversible camp jersey. Running this program is the University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen lacrosse coaching staff and current players.

University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen Lacrosse Prospect Day Organizers

Head Coach Greg Cannella is leading the University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen lacrosse team. He is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Coach Greg Cannella is also a master’s degree in liberal studies graduate from Stony Brook University. He is now in his 25th year at the helm of the Minutemen lacrosse program. Ultimate, Coach Greg Cannella is a four-time Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a five-time New England Coach of the Year awardee and the 2016 USILA National Coach of the Year. Under his leadership, the Minutemen has already four ECAC titles and two CAA titles. Then, the University of Massachusetts Amherst Minutemen lacrosse team associate head coach is Doc Schneider, also an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts. He is now in his 10th season with the coaching staff and his first season in the associate head coaching role. Moreover, the Minutemen assistant coach is Craig McDonald, a native of Geneva, New York. Coach Craig McDonald is a graduate of the University of Albany. The volunteer assistant coach is Jeremy Phelps. Finally, Shane Madden is the undergraduate volunteer assistant.
