The University of Northwestern St. Paul Eagles Women’s Lacrosse Camp is for both beginner and advanced level female lacrosse players in grade 6 up to grade 12. It is a four-day event that will run from the 30th of July until the 2nd of August. Morning sessions will be for grade 9 up to grade 12 participants while afternoon sessions are for grade 6 to 8 participants. In addition, this lacrosse camp will take place at the University of Northwestern St. Paul campus. The training program includes position work and team offensive and defensive situations. Instructions will be according to the player’s age and skill level.
The University of Northwestern St. Paul is a private, coeducational, Christian university in Roseville, Minnesota. It is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. It is also a part of the National Association of Evangelicals as well as the Association of Christian Schools International. The head coach of the University of Northwestern St. Paul Eagles women’s lacrosse team is Taylor Deetjen. She is the former head coach of the Woodbury (Minn.) High School varsity girls team. Coach Deetjen is now in her third year at the reins of the Eagles women’s lacrosse program. Then, the Eagles assistant coach is Megan Cotter. She is now in her second year with the coaching staff. Finally, the volunteer assistant coach is Kelli Swanson.
