Washington and Lee University Women’s Lacrosse Fall Clinic

Join the Washington and Lee University Women’s Lacrosse Fall Clinic on the 1st of October from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon. It is open to all 2019 and 2020 high school graduating girls. It will take place at the Washington and Lee University turf field. In addition, this full-day lacrosse clinic includes field sessions with the university’s coaching staff and current players, college recruitment and admission sessions, and a campus tour. Furthermore, players need to bring their own footwear, goggles, lacrosse stick, and mouth guard. Goalies all need to bring their own equipment.

Washington and Lee University, originally Augusta Academy, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Lexington, Virginia. Its campus features the Lee Chapel which is part of the National Historic Landmark. Its name is in honor of two prominent Americans in history, George Washington and Robert E. Lee. Moreover, the university has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. It is among the nation’s best universities. As a matter of fact, Washington and Lee University is 31st in the 2017 edition of Forbes America’s Top Colleges rankings. It is also 10th in National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges rankings. The university’s current undergraduate population is around 1,900 while its postgraduate student population is around 400. Additionally, Washington and Lee University’s college sports teams are competing in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference of NCAA Division III.

 

Washington and Lee University Women’s Lacrosse Fall Clinic Organizers

Brooke Diamond O’Brien is the head coach of the Washington and Lee University women’s lacrosse team. She hails from Longmeadow, Massachusetts and is now residing in Lexington. She is a 5-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Brooke Diamond O’Brien is also a 2-time Virginia Sports Information Directors Coach of the Year. Then, the team’s assistant coach is Erica Geremia. Coach Geremia is the former head coach of the  Orange Crush Lacrosse Club.
